Roshunder "Ms. Shun" Rucker - Founder

Roshunder Rucker, lovingly known as Ms. Shun, is the heart and visionary behind Future Pioneers Learning Center. With over 30 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, Ms. Shun brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and leadership to the center. Her journey began with a deep-rooted passion for nurturing young minds and a belief that every child deserves a safe, loving, and enriching environment to grow and thrive. As a dedicated educator and advocate for children, Ms. Shun has made it her mission to create a space where learning is joyful, friendships are built, and every child is seen and celebrated. Her hands-on leadership and commitment to excellence have guided Future Pioneers from a home-based childcare center to a trusted preschool and early education hub in Louisville. Ms. Shun is known not only for her educational expertise but also for her genuine care for every family that walks through the door. Her unwavering dedication, nurturing spirit, and focus on community impact continue to shape Future Pioneers into a place where future leaders are born every day.

Ebony Campbell - Operations Manager

Bringing over a decade of experience in hospitality management and a lifelong connection to the childcare industry. She holds a B.A. from Columbia College Chicago and grew up in the world of early childhood education, inspired by her mother who owned a successful chain of childcare centers. Ebony now blends her operational expertise, leadership skills, and passion for service to help create a structured, nurturing, and high-quality environment for children, families, and staff.

Ms. Jamie – Assistant Director

Jamie brings over 10 years of experience in early childhood education and has worked in every classroom setting. Her passion for helping children learn and grow shines through in everything she does. Currently serving as our Assistant Director, Jamie is dedicated to creating a nurturing and engaging envir up onment for both children and staff. She holds her Director’s Credential and is proud to be in her second year in leadership. Outside of work, Jamie is a devoted mom, stepmom, and twin who enjoys all kinds of food and has a fun-loving dog named Scrappy-Doo!

Tania Gordon - Team Lead

Tania Gordon is a dedicated Team Lead at Future Pioneers Learning Center Inc. With a lifelong connection to childcare, Tania grew up in the industry through her mother’s leadership and has her developed a strong passion for nurturing and guiding young children. She brings years of hands-on experience, a warm personality, and a love for helping children learn and grow in a safe, supportive environment.

Ms. Monica – Lead Infant Teacher

Ms. Monica is the lead teacher in the infant room and brings a lifetime of nurturing experience to her role. She is a devoted mother of one biological child and one adopted child, and has also fostered many more. Having spent most of her adult life caring for children —raising her own, babysitting, and loving on her grandchildren—Ms. Monica’s gentle and patient nature shines in everything she does. She loves the color red, enjoys coffee and sweet treats, and finds joy in visiting the beach and traveling. She is also a proud grandmother of twins.

Ms. Sadaria – Preschool Teacher

Ms. Sadaria is a first-time preschool teacher who recently graduated from Spalding University with a degree in Business Administration. She has a natural love for being around children and says their joy and energy lift her spirits, even on tough days. Her favorite color is orange, and she enjoys seafood and drinking Coca-Cola. Outside the classroom, Ms. Sadaria has 20 tattoos, loves the movie The Pursuit of Happyness, and proudly supports her brother who serves in the Army.

Ms. Sarah – Two-Year-Old Teacher

Ms. Sarah is the two-year-old teacher with a big heart for helping little ones grow. With 2 years of experience in daycare and a long history of babysitting, she’s passionate about making sure children learn and have fun together. Her favorite color is purple, and she enjoys fries, fried chicken, and Diet Coke. Ms. Sarah is a God-fearing woman with 11 siblings, and a fun fact about her is she became an aunt at just 7 years old. Her favorite show is The Ms. Pat Show.

Ms. Beilyn – One-Year-Old Teacher

Ms. Beilyn is the one-year-old teacher and is excited to be stepping into her very first teaching role. A proud Latina who speaks both English and Spanish, she brings joy, patience, and creativity to the classroom. Her favorite colors are yellow and lilac, and she loves tacos, iced tea, and matcha lattes. In her free time, Ms. Beilyn enjoys reading books and making handmade flowers, blending her love for art with meaningful creativity.

Ms. Leonela –Assistant Infant Teacher

Ms. Leonela is originally from Cuba and brings a strong educational background, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Education with a focus on children with special needs. Although she is still learning English, she communicates with children through warmth, care, and affection. Since joining the Future Pioneers team, she has enjoyed working with babies and expanding her experience in a new educational setting. Ms. Leonela loves the color green because it represents hope, enjoys milk, and her favorite food from her country is arepas. She has a deep love for children and a kind, nurturing spirit.

Ms. Brandi – Assistant Teacher

Ms. Brandi is a warm and observant educator with a passion for working with children. Inspired by her sister who owns several successful childcare centers, she brings both heart and hands-on experience to her role. With 12 siblings and many nieces and nephews, Ms. Brandi has spent years nurturing and caring for kids. Her favorite colors are pink and black, and she loves steak, tacos, lemonade, and Sprite. In her free time, she enjoys reading, journaling, exploring, and traveling to new places.

Ms. Fatima – Assistant Teacher

Ms. Fatima is originally from Morocco and has lived in the U.S. for eight years. She holds a master’s degree in economics and has experience working as both a babysitter and a teacher. Passionate about nurturing young minds, Ms. Fatima loves being part of the Future Pioneers team and finds joy in helping children grow and learn. Her favorite colors are black and beige, and she enjoys Moroccan food, coffee, and tea. A proud mom of two, she is the oldest of her siblings and loves to travel.
